Megan Denise Fox is an American actress and model. She came to the world on May 16, 1986 in Oak Ridge, Tennessee. Her parents ended their marriage when she was still a child and she and her sister were brought up by their mother. Fox started training dance and drama as early as age 5. By the age of 13 she began acting and modeling, after having won several awards at the 1999 American Modeling and Talent Convention in Hilton Head, South Carolina. She finished high school at 17, through correspondence.
Megan made her film debut with the role of Brianna Wallace in the Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen movie "Holiday in the Sun" (2001). She went on to star in Confessions of a Teenage Drama "Queen" (2004)and again took on her recurring role as Sydney Shanowski, until the show was cancelled in 2006.
She had her big break when she was cast in the movie "Transformers" (2007).She played Mikaela Banes, the love interest of Sam Witwicky. Thanks to this film she was nominated for three Teen Choice Awards and was catapulted to stardom. She has also starred in the sequel "Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen" (2009), and is set to come back for another film, third in the "Transformers".
Megan is perceived as a sex symbol which has been confirmed by how many times she has appeared in men's and other magazines, and on their covers. She was declared the sexiest, most desirable, most beautiful a large number of times by readers of these publications as well as online websites.
