Amber Rose Tamblyn comes from Santa Monica, CA, born on 14.05.1983. Both of her parents are artists, with her family connections tied to singing, performing and dancing. Ever since she was young she proved that she was talented for performing on stage and this saw her go to auditions thanks to a family friend who saw her perform. TV series started first and between '95-'01, she was portraying Emily Quartermaine in General Hospital. She was a lead in Joan of Arcadia that was current for 2 years starting in '03. She also had appearances in Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Boston Public and CSI:Miami amongst some. Her movie career took of with The Ring (2002), The Sisterhood of The Travelling Pants and the sequel (2005 and 2008) and she was also in The Grudge 2 (2006). Her latest movie is due to come out in 2010 - Main Street.
She also proved that she loves poetry and released 2 books and made appearances at poetry readings across USA.
